• Late Afternoon: Head into Funchal. Start with a stroll through the charming Zona Velha (Old Town). Admire the painted doors of Rua de Santa Maria as part of the "Art of Open Doors" project – it's like a treasure hunt for kids!
• Evening: Enjoy a traditional Madeiran dinner at one of the many restaurants in the Old Town. Many places offer Espetada (meat skewers) and Bolo do Caco (garlic bread), which are usually a hit with kids.
